See, I think thats a good buy purely because Spurs don't have anyone challenging the top scorers.. Adebayor might just be the person to do that for them!

Ideal Well, they've got Crouch, Pavlyuchenko, Defoe.. until recently they had Keane too.

I don't feel like the missing piece of their puzzle is the striker, I think they have an unbalanced team.
Maybe it would have been wiser for them to sign a more stereotypical left wing who could overlap with Bale, and a pacey right-back, imho the lack of pace at right back is easy to spot, Corluka is allright and everything, but they'd be better off with someone different.

Well, Kyle Walker will probably be playing right back, so problem solved. I think having a striker which is mobile and can hold up the ball will make a difference. It should get more out of Van Der Vaart.

I don't think Left Wing is an issue Assou-Ekotto and Bale are good enough together. They may be missing someone who can break up the play and play a decent pass..Lassana Diarra.

Friedel

Walker Dawson Kaboul Assou-Ekotto

Lennon Diarra Modric Bale

Van Der Vaart

Adebayor

you forgot to factor in the nearly fully fit ledley king...

That is a stupid offer. If I was Bolton I'd now tell them to fck off and don't waste your time making an improved bid.

He's out of contract end of season though........so if they do that, they could lose him for nothing (especially if his head is turned and Arsenal have told him to "sit tight")

Ok. The same apart from a defender who's always injured, a midfielder who won't join, a midfielder who wants to leave and a striker who had one good season 5 years ago.

Harry really is building a title contending side.

£6m for Cahill? LOL

I know its the last year of his contract, but he'll be worth more than that if he helps to keep them up (they should be safe anyway) or gets them into Europe. Iirc the caluse in his contract is £17m, Arsenal will surely need to top £10m to get him. C'mon Liverpool, step in and prove me right.

Random Bolton fact - the club has played the most top flight campaigns (72) of any English league club without once winning the title.

Joey Barton on a 4 year deal, that's quite a coup for a football team with a shed for a ground, Luke Young, Shoeshine, this £20 bet is candy from a baby.
