USA_Loyal_Royal it sucks a lot to have your heart broken like this 2 summers in a row (at least for me). selling shane long last year and missing on the chance to resign gylfi this year. i wonder how they will break my heart next year...

LoyalRoyalFan Jonny Fordham is going to be reporting some news in the Reading Post tomorrow.
Very predictable outcome here.

'Greed. Along with Robin Friday one of the most overrated RFC players ever.
How very dare you?
Wash your mouth out with soap and water.
Friday is King and always will be.

USA_Loyal_RoyalLibertine I hope all of our potential signings will not take as long as this to get sorted. Our first friendly is a little more than 2 weeks away. Maybe it is just me but wouldn't be a good thing if we have the majority of our 2012-2013 squad together before we hit camp? It might allow the new players maximum time to get familiar with how the system works and their fellow players. To me the longer the process of getting "4 or 5 new players" drags on the better chance we will get off to a slow start in the Premier League...where every single point is like gold.
i agree, but then again i trust BM to know what he is doing. i fully believe that we could pull off a mid-table finish this season. we just need to get a few quality signings in needed positions.

Libertine I never had any realistic hope we would be able to sign him so I am not completely torn up over this.

Error on my part. Saying that in the space of five minutes there were conflicting stories. Some saying that he hasn't even spoken to Spurs... etc. Decided to delete purely because it's obvious that there are conflicting stories which all can see by reading the updates on here.

andrew1957IcelandicStokie New information!!!!
1. Sadly I have been told Reading are out of the race to sign Sigurdsson. The club has been notified of this and has withdrawn from the race.
2. Gylfi has not agreed to join Spurs
3. Spurs have the best offer but Liverpool has a big appeal because of BR and could raise their offer this week.
Its down to Spurs and Liverpool now.
Well your track record is excellent so I am gutted.
