sandmanroyalstevesandman Five teams battling to avoid the two available relegation places, three clubs trying to get the last Champions League place and anyone from fourth to tenth could get the two Europa League places. All to be decided in an exciting final weekend in La Liga.
thats unusual though
Not really. Osasuna finished 9th last season and were still in danger of relegation on the final day whilst Sevilla, Athletic and Atleti all finished on the same number of points whilst fighting for the Europa League places.

TBM Ah but did they have a player elbowing someone before kneeing another up the arse and then attempting to nut someone else - all in the space of a couple of minutes

AbovetheI Barton is an absolute disgrace, but I did LOL at his walk to the tunnel, Balotelli jumping into the fracas, and the commentator saying "Ballotelli getting involved now, would you believe it?"
Yes, yes I would.

The best. Period.end.of.story. He is legend here for his call of the 2010 US-Algeria WC match. He was immediately promoted/given a long term contract by ESPN to be the lead football announcer for the channel. And being able to watch today's game with him behind the mic made it that much more enjoyable.
