Silver Fox BTW what was with the nazi salute celebration for RVP's second?

“It has been brought to my attention of some ridiculous allegations concerning my celebration of one of my goals,” he wrote.

“It is totally ludicrous to suggest that my action of brushing my shoulder could be construed as anything else but a showing of joy and celebration.

“To suggest this meant anything to the contrary is insulting and absolutely absurd as nothing else came into my mind.”

Demba Ba now has 15 goals in 21 Premier League appearances.

Looks like a quality signing, as was Obertan. Alan Pardew 3rd in the Premier League, well I never.

Goes to help reaffirm the fact that 'geordies' [in a football context] are all complete idiots/ungrateful pcuntters for turning their noses up on him so quickly.

He has done it despite them..... he fans should consider themselves lucky.

More of a reaction against Hughton's sacking shirley? Still early doors and they've hardly played the top clubs yet. I'll be surprised if he lasts until the end of that ridiculous contract.

I judged their reaction within a context of how they reacted to things generally....which is idiotic, generally.

I suppose they haven't played many tough games...but picked up points against Spurs and Arsenal [the only 'top 6' clubs they've faced] which is all you can reasonably ask for.

Well for a club like Newcastle who are very much 'mid-table', or potentially worse given they lost their three best players in the summer, to have played as well as they have and beaten the clubs of similar ability in the division is a testament to Pardew and the players. That they haven't played United, City etc doesn't really matter a jot, as they are winning the games they really have to win if they are going to challenge for Europe.

By the way, Rooney has 61 goals in his last 94 appearances for United dating back to the start of 2009/10. You asked about that a while back.

I wondered what your source was, did he speak to you personally, or is there an article online I could peruse, from which you got this information?
