QPR 4 year plan

floyd__streete Anyone else watch this rather dull documentary yesterday? Plenty of LOLz to be had in the first half of the doc with Briatore demanding managers sacked every five minutes and the loathsome Paladini doing his master's bidding by knocking on the dressing toom door to request an extra striker be put on for the second half. Got a bit dull when they appointed Warnock, yeah you've embarassed yourself by getting through half a dozen managers in 18 months before getting it right so don't feel too pleased with yourselves.

Anyway, it told us nothing we didn't already know:

- Briatore and Paladini are complete idiots.
- QPR are an embarassing shambles of a club.
- QPR fans make Reading supporters look like University Challenge material.

Still, they got in the Premier League last season which is more than Reading did. Bitter much?

Why was this even on the BBC?

Up next on BBC Two. The rise and fall of Luton Town.

106 point season > 88 point season and celebrating promotion on the back of Mark Clemmit announcing to you outside the ground that you haven't been docked points for your shady transfer dealings

It was the most entertaining bit of TV I've watched in ages.

Funniest bit was Flavio treating Dowie like his bitch.

Amit is a true gent and has the club at heart, the other italian idiots, words can't express what a circus they made our club.

Oh Maskell, you're bordering on obsessional, take a step back fella before you drop in the classic hoop line.

Watched this last night with my eyes popping out at the comedy amateurishness. The last of a series of documentaries over the years that have opened my eyes to the high bodge factor in football, others being the Graham Taylor and Peter Reid ones. It's not as if Ecclestone, Briatore, and Paladini are likely to be an isolated case of lunatics running the asylum--we've had a series of clowns at the FA, for example (the present lot are blatantly making an unnecessary song and dance of the England appointment, with their shortlist of bloody ten). I can guess that people still in the game, like Mandaric, this Mitchell guy at Bournemouth, Mike Ashley, Barry Fry, and countless others take the same hit, hope, and holler approach to the custodianship of clubs. (I'm a bit worried the bouffant bloke at Anton's side recently might be one of those, though I can't imagine Samuelson behaving like Paladini and co--a good test'll be whether Anton's girlfriend starts going in the changing room at half time.)

But poor Leigertwood, talk about bemused--he must think he's dropped in heaven after QPR.

Leigertwood didn't help himself with his press conference saying it was basically a shambles, before Warnock saved him by taking the mic away

He was just answering the question honestly and then Colin "straight-talking" Cockchops pipes up with a load of arselicking spin because the people Mikele's about to slate are still about.

106 points is an utter irelevance. The only aim of any lower league club is promotion. The top flight is where you set records other wise we may aswell look at vintage FC Henley in circa 2005 when we won every single game in Reading East Sunday Div 4.
