.... And as ever Arsene & RVP are the models of good grace in defeat!

Did Wenger really just bugger off before Martinez could shake his hand?

(sorry too idle to hunt down the ArsenaLOL thread)

Fcuk me I went to the Arsenal Wigan game and it was probably the worst game of football I've seen in a long time. Even a Reading v Watford game had more excitement

Personally think Blackburn and Bolton will join Wolves in the Championship next year.

Really? I watched it on TV and thought it was fantastic entertainment for a neutral.

It what way? The result or the football?

Cos Arsenal couldn't string any passes together and Wigan after going 2-0 up put 10 men behind the ball

Are you actually an Arsenal fan? Anyway haven't got time to argue with a load of old cobblers like that.

Like what? :|

What exactly made it "exciting"?

I went to see Arsenal play their free flowing football that everyone goes on about - they didn't. Wigan deserved the win but made it a boring game by their parking the bus tactics. £40 a ticket I wouldn't have said it was "exciting for a neutral"

Pompey can go down tonight and we can go up. Justice for resting a side that helped relegate us! 8)

Maybe I was expecting more from them, then?! - first half the keeper pulled off 3 cracking saves but second half the only shot on target was the tame effort from Moses from the edge of the box. Wigan simply defended in numbers (very well) with Moses up top on his own - when they won the ball they hit the wings for him to chase.

Watching on TV it may have looked "good" but being there live it really wasn't - as said one of the worst games I've been to.

It's your opinion and you are entitled to it. I completely and utterly disagree with just about everything you've written.

So you're saying that this game was worse than, say, any of the games we played under Rodgers? Or the run in the year after we got relegated? Or any game that Tommy Burns or Terry the Taxi managed?

Fair play to Wigan last night, showing a bit of 11th hour spirit.

Thought you didn't have time to argue ;)

I was supposed to be watching one of the best teams in Europe play - they didn't look like a team that is 3rd in the Premiership.........so yes.

I was leaving the house at the time. Am now in work and avoiding the real world.

Again - you are entitled to your opinion so I think it's best left there.
