LOL @ predicting who is going to win a cup competition which has so many variables, not least the luck of the draw :|

Just seems a bit pointless forecasting the cup winners, but you crack on because you're nothing if not pointless anyway m8 8)

Anyway, shall I have a go at the 'fun'?

Prem - Man City, best players and biggest resources.
Champ - Bolton, seem to have kept many if their best players, good manager who will have learned a lot from last year.
Lge 1 - MK Dons, another good manager and decent resources etc. for that league so will come good eventually.
Lge 2 - Rotherham, for no reason other than I saw them play in pre-season and they looked decent and they have big ambitions there now.

I actually suggest you put money on Frankie Boyle as the next PM before you put an acca on any of my predictions 8)

Prem: Norwich. No, wait, Manchester United.

Champ: Cardiff, with a saver on Charlton.

L1: Blades, with a sneaking fancy for Swindon.

L2: I don't think Fleetwood are nailed on, but I'll be surprised if they don't get promoted. I'd be expecting a well-drilled and cyncial team run by a charmless cunt to win the this division, as per usual. This seasons version: Rotherham

Hmmm, can't see it. What happens if Wet Sham flops and they sack Fat Sam? Will they nick the mad Italian off Swindon?

Prem is tough to call this year. Man City (as of yet) have not improved this window, and there were some cracks that became evident towards the end of last season. Doubt they are going to win it again this season. Chelsea are spending money, but I don't rate RDM as a manager, and it remains to be seen how long the new guys will take to gel/adapt. Arsenal have done some quality business, and if they can keep the Koscielny and Vermaelen fit they'll challenge. Liverpool and Tottenham are both wildcards, but I think one of them will have a good season, I suspect it will be 'Pool.

Man Utd are my pick though, young squad that will improve from last year, Cleverley is back fit which is a massive plus for them and Kagawa is a fantastic addition.

Anyway, despite the inevitable cynicism from many on this board, this season is shaping up to be really quite special with the league being massively open at both top and bottom. It's a good time to be a sports fan in the UK.
