Ok thanks - im guessing ITV have the Tuesday games this season then

Celtic would have been on, but Kazakhstan is 4 odd hours ahead so the game was mid-afternoon.

So they put Lewis on instead.

It was on ITV 4. Watched it and they weren't great. Could enter a viscous circle if they're not careful. Having sold Hooper, Wanyama and Wilson they aren't as strong as last year but will have no chance of replacing them if they fail to qualify for the group stages.

Having said that the Kazakhstan team are poor and even at 2-0 Celtic should still go through.

Turkish side Fenerbahce have failed in an appeal against their ban from competing in Europe following their involvement in domestic match-fixing.

So even if they had won against Arsenal, they wouldn't have gone through.....what a pointless fixture :|

So, if they had beaten Arsenal and then been kicked out, would Arsenal have gone through, or a 3rd party club?

I guess thats why they waited until after the result - instead of giving Arsenal a bye

Doesn't un-injure Podolski, Ramsey and Wiltshire though does it.

Didn't Fenerbatchy beat someone in the previous round, while their appeal was pending? I'd be pretty narked if I was that club

Well played Celtic.

Can't stand Celtic for three reasons.

Neil Lennon
Scott Brown
Their fans.

Can't say I'm particularly bothered about Scottish football, but that was a very enjoyable game.

Celtic fans went to Brentford for a preseason friendly this summer and absolutely trashed the place. A lot of violence too.

'xactly. So when they complain someone else is being violent then you know things are bad.
