Ferguson all the way. He's been at the top for longer and has brought through most of his players locally as opposed to buying in the best youngsters from across the globe.

Neither's record is particularly great in Europe compared to a Capello but domesticallly I would argue Man Utd have been a greater force over the last decade than Arsenal. Close call but greater.

At the moment you've got to go for Fergie but when all is said and done who knows? Although unless Wenger takes an unfashinable club to european success at some point in his career Fergie will always have the magical times at Pittodrie in his favour.

Perhaps Mr Mad can offer him the chance to make history when SSC eventually moves on?
