cmonurz There is however something funny about bringing up police brutality after the shocking scenes recorded last week, as is bringing up behaviour of English fans as some kind of counter to it. I don't know what your link to Scotland is FR, I know you are a Rangers fan, but if you are an actual Scottish football fan then you should be ashamed of this behaviour, not trying to condone it.

A constant theme surrounding these things is that two wrongs certainly make a right.

Where have I condoned it? Please don't misquote me or make up falsehoods to try and belittle me. The actions of the people that got involved and initiated trouble were stupid, wrong, illegal and should be punished.
However comments that i've seen on here would have you think it was the majority of rangers fans that caused this. Over 200,00 travelled ffs and 400 or so were the one's making trouble. That is a MINORITY, in anyone's book.
The english media have been laughable as usual, pointing the finger at the scots when in fact england have been far far worse over the years when they travel abroad.

The facts speak for themself, celtic were better in the league this season and deserve to win. The history books won't lie.
That said, most people accept rangers would have won the title by a long way had they not had to suffer a ridiculous fixture pile up thats embarrassed the SPL and scotland. Rangers will end the season with two domestic trophy's and a runners up Uefa cup medal. Celtic relied on rangers to loose the league rather than win it, they also played a liverpool role this season, playing for one competition only.
Rangers raked in some big funds this season so can hopefully get some quality over the summer. Rangers will be happier with the season they've had.

Slight contradiction here methinks.

I've no interest in scottish football but, from the outside looking in, I have never seen a title more clearly won be default than this one in any division in any country ever.

The true embarrassment is that any Rangers fan blames the SPL for the fixture pile-up caused by...Rangers playing successfully in four competitions and reaching three finals. How long should the season have gone on? June? July? August? If you are successful across four competitions, you have to expect a lot of games in a smaller time-frame. Otherwise, get yourself knocked out of the ones you don't really want and concentrate on the those you do i.e. the League.

The only embarassment would be if the SPL kowtowed to the pair of Glasgow pcunts even more than they already do

lol@typical rangers reactions

excuses, excuses

fact is-you bottled it when it counted

losing twice to celtic, once in last minute, once after having taken the lead

bottled it against the likes of motherwell, hibernian and aberdeen when it counted

celtic won 7 in a row when it counted

i admrie the likes of walter smith and ally mccoist for their reaction to tommy burns death, even carrying the coffin and also not banging on about the fixtures too much, thats what happens when u go hell for leather to win the likes of the scottish cup and 0-0 your way to the uefa cup final

in fact the season was extended-but what a turnaround :D

oh and by the way when celtic got to the uefa cup final they faced a similar fixture backlog and won the league

3 in a row, seven more and we'll break our own record :D

no dignified responses here from rangers fans here but as we saw in manchester, they are what they are  +

One wonders if Tommy Burns had snuffed it on Wednesday night and the Tims had been behind in the title race they would've wanted it to be moved. One rule for one, one for another. Shambles at Motherwells pitch didnt help. The death of Phil O'Donnell should not have affected the Old Firm game in January. Rangers fans showed that they respected the Burns 'applasses' at Motherwell and at Aberdeen last night (may have also been one at St Mirren).
