I do hope they do well next season but don't see them having a chance of staying up.
Also they came up via the play-offs and usually they are the team who struggles.

Personally, I'm pleased that Hull were promoted today - bring on Ashton Gate next season!

Ashton Gate, unhelpfully, is also miles away from any railway station.

There's enough pubs between Temple Meads and Ashton Gate to make it bearable, floyd - some may even sell your cherryade cider (or whatever that gheyers drink you had before Arsenal was ).

It's a quite pleasant, although lengthy stroll through the outskirts of Bristol with a safe and secure feeling that you are not going to get bottled at every City fan filled pub you pass.

East Stand Ste Hull City are in a higher league than us!!....ah well, should pass em on the way up!

good goal, but both sides were shit.....hope Hull do well but i fear they will end up with less points than Derby

mind you if bristol city had won, i reckon lita would be there like a shot, so he can continue his clubbing

Exactly. Not really in a position to snipe are you, supporting Chelsea, an average Premiership club which gained a billionaire owner and suddenly won everything - I'm sure Chelsea had millions of fans worldwide before Abramovich took over.

Also worth remembering Chelsea were in worse debt than Leeds and were allegedly a day away from bankruptcy when Abramovich came in - they really could've been (re)founded in 2004

Good luck to them I'm sure they will enjoy there brief stay in the Premier league, they can't do worst than Derby can they? At least Bristol will fill the South stand next season.

Is it just an Urban myth that he only bought them because he flew over the stadium on the way to veiwing spurs and quite liked it?

Really glad to see Hull doing well, Strike me as a progressive club going places, a bit like we were a few seasons ago and hopefully still are.
