There are plenty more ways of scoring a good goal.

I recall a goal spurs scored in Europe (many years back) and I think it was voted goal of the season by some competition. The actual 'shot' was pretty tame but it was the result of about 15-20 passes and some excellent movement.

Much like Cambiasso's goal in the World Cup. Brilliant passing and movement and a pretty routine finish.
