it's all a bit too clever for me.

anyway, where've you been over the past month or so?

OK, I just checked and you've posted a bit, but far less frequently than usual.

Did I say you were allowed to have a life?

LUX er, whoosh for Rabidbee?

or maybe I should have been more explicitly sarcastic.

No, I was being sarcastic too. I didn't think you'd need a wink.

LUX it's all a bit too clever for me.

That's me to a tee :-)

My Nan was racist about the nurses at the JR a few years back and she wasn't fined.

I dont accept racism either. However, that does not mean that it doesn't exist.

rabidbee How can you condemn rampant PCism when you don't know what the comments were?

I'd assume in pretty much the same way that you condemned the lads racist remarks in the first place?

Actually, I didn't.

Your's was about as much of a condemnation (hoping he was caused physical pain if he's made a racist comment) as Boardoms was a condemnation of the PCism.

Both posts based on If's and Maybe's.

No. We both made speculative comments about the nature of his comments. TB then made an unequivocal condemnation of PCness, even though none of us know the nature of the actual comments.

Terminal Boardom My betting would be on a flippant, off-the-cuff remark which has been taken the wrong way. If he said that the bruising was darker than the nurses then I would take that as a flippant comment made by a naive 17 year old. Whats more worrying is the rampant pc bollox that continues to sweep through the nation.

Did he?

Sounds more like a general complaint than a specific comment on this case. His 'my betting...' comment is no more unequivocal condemnation than yours (in my opinion as least).

I'm not going to reply again, because this is getting needlessly drawn out.

I objected to this remark: "Whats more worrying is the rampant pc bollox that continues to sweep through the nation."
