handbags_harris Since when did Swindon become Reading's rivals? It's not as though the "hatred" is really reciprocated is it? I'm hoping at some point in the not too distant future Reading get to play Aldershot Town. There's still a lot of anti-Reading animosity from shots fans, and any old school Reading fan will say that Aldershot are/were the "real" rivals.

I am an old school Reading fan and Swindon were always the rivals, at least during the mid to late 60s. Aldershot were in Div 4 and not really noticed unless it was FA Cup season.
