Based on having seen all the condenters for promotion except Huddersfield, I think that you will be visiting Carrow Road, The New Den and either the County Ground or the Valley next season.

Leeds are not that good IMHO

RoyalChicagoFC Are they gonna have a hard time keeping Beckford in the squad, or is League One hotshot reckoned, in the final analysis, to be just about the limit of his excellence?

There have been prem scouts sniffing around, but I can see him in the championship next year with or without Leeds. He reminds me a lot of Zamora.

Hasn't he already signed a pre-contract with Everton?

Why? Are they getting promoted to the Premier League as well???

I totally agree with Norwich/Millwall; they look like 2 teams who have really pulled the stops out, whereas Leeds just look to have stopped! The play-offs will be interesting, and I genuinely hope The Swine go up; it will be good to have a couple of local derbies next season.

Well obviously earlier in the season I was looking forward to your return trip to Griffin Park with your tail between your legs as you returned to your normal habitat and the natural order of life was restored. Unfortunately it looks like we will have to have Palace or Watford as poor substitutes instead.

RG30 Here's to Leeds getting their promotion campaign back on track and me having a "home" game next year in West Yorkshire

Dis'greed - you can have Huddersfield instead.

Bitter, much? Since our move to the Madj we have by far outgrown clubs like Brentford anyway. 2nd tier should be our natural level for the forseeable. You'll do well just to remain in the 3rd.

Beckford's a disgrace.

Stop playing after he realised he could get more money in the summer.

Didn't even let Leeds cash in on him in Jan.

Hope he snaps a leg before he gets his move...

McDermott is far too smart.

Plus he's holding out for 20k per week. I don't thinking he's gonna get that here....

I can find nothing on it, but sure it was announced that he signed a pre-contract agreement with Everton. Can't have happened.

Non of our players were not trying.

Hunt lost his head, but that is different. And he had reasons people will never know about.

There was a story Beckford had signed with Everton, but think it's still just a story at the moment. A Prem team will take a punt on him.

Some of us have already been to Elland Road with 'ding more than once - and on a personal note, it'll never trump the LC win in Nov 97:

Tuesday am train from Southampton to Manchester to meet a mate, on the booze from midday, train to Leeds, few more pints at the station, cab to the ground with some cans (which we stashed in a bush for the way back). Won 3-2, beers were still there after the game, train back to Manchester (having almost been thrown out of LOLeeds station for over-exuberance), night club in Manchester and then the 5am train back to So'ton for an afternoon lab practical.

Happy days!

Parallels between Beckford's form post January this season and S.Hunt's form post January last season.
