Maguire Not really sure what to make of this one. Spain have stuttered but are clearly class at heart - Torress is holding them back though. Germany have been excellent yet still strike me as vulnerable at the back. No Thomas Moeller this evening either.

Which way will it go? Who knows - I don't foresee a goal fest though so will take Spain 1-0.

I'm guessing your nearest rivals all have podolski and klose.

My Fantasy football fowards are Villa, Podolski, Klose and Forlan atm. As Forlan scored i'm not risking him out, can only play 3, which other 2 should i play?!

Goal-less first half, Germany score on the hour with a heavily deflected free-kick from Lahm, Spain equalise 10 minutes from time with a left-foot low drive from Villa. Chances for both sides in extra-time, but it goes to pens and Germany win it 4-3, as Pique puts it too close to the keeper and Capdevila blazes over the bar.

Can't see Germany being as good without Muller but Spain's defence is creaky.

My prediction is a fairly tight game played mostly in midfield with a bit of magic from Villa deciding the match

Spain 1-0 Germany

Right, we're in the tenth minute and goalless

My sense has been that form won't hold and that Spain will win this --it's been that kind of competition

1-0 in the end

Shoulda been 1-0. Puyol blazes a free-header over from 6 yards.

Spain moving the ball around as per - Germany not bothering to chase the shadows just yet.

Germany just get away with it then. Sounds like it's livening up. Come on Spain!

Surely only a matter of time before Spain score. Wonderful to watch and the Germans are just trying to do what all the other teams who've faced Spain have done.
