Yes it would count after the 5 towns were merged to creat Stoke on Trent. The others are:
Bristol
Manchester
Liverpool
Manchester
Nottingham - however, Forest actually play in West Bridgford which, technically, is not in Nottingham
London
Sheffield

You'd be 100% correct if you hadn't put Manchester twice...

I thought it was a bit easy

In that case, please swap one of my Manchesters for Birmingham

Which town in England has seen four different clubs play in the Football League, although there's only one in the League at present?

I'd go for a Burton.

Which British cities have provided at least 2 clubs to reach the Euro Cup / Champs Lge semi-finals?

There are 3 I reckon.

That's lots of questions flying around, but not many volunteers to do round of questions - or even suggestions for round themes.

Any takers - or suggestions?

I have done a number of sports quiz's in the past. The general format has been

1. General Knowledge 20 questions
2. A list type question i.e name the 23 man England squad for 2002 world cup
3. Picture Round
4. Another General knowledge round
5. Another list type question i.e name the first clubs to compete in the Premier League
6. An ascending list type round i.e.
a - who are the only team with letters abcde in their name
b - name 2 losing fa cup semi finalists of last year
c - last 3 English managers of Liverpool
h- up to 8 quarter finalists in last seasons Carling Cup

Hope this is of use
