Royal With Cheese :?

No Royalee posts again?

Wonder why?

This is getting a bit creepy

Was there last night. Some great footy but trying too hard to outdo Arsenal and walk it in. Again lucky that most of the other teams failed to capitalise. Still 2nd tho.

Agreed, but I can't help myself! He'll be back when you win again.

It's getting very tight for that 2nd automatic place now. What's your run in?

Massive game today then think we also have Norwich at home. Doing our best to emulate Arsenal a bit too much for my liking at le mo. Could've put 2nd spot in the bag if we'd kept the form vs Leeds going over the last games with the way the other results have gone. Getting tight but it's still up for grabs.

Brilliant result for Brendan yesterday, have every chance now. Tbh, Brendan > Paul Lambert > Billy Davies > Dave Jones so come on you Swans. That said, Brendan never really comes across very well in interviews does he? Seemed a bit delusional and conceited when he spoke after the Forest game of his side's "charismatic passing" :|

It was a cracking game against Forest. Scott Sinclair is some player. When the Swans play a more high tempo game they really are terrific. If we don't finish second. I hope they do.
Brendan bless him as such an odd accent. Its a strange mess of a Celtic accent and yes he does sound up himself at times....but he had a hard time at Reading so good luck to him.
Btw I just hope Forest fall right away. Davies is horrible.

At the risk of this thread becoming groundhog conversation, Brendan's hard time at Reading was almost entirely of his own making; he tried to change too much too soon in terms of imposing his playing principles on the team too soon and he made far too many mistakes - such as the Tommy Smith farce - which contributed to his own downfall.

Agreed re: Davies though. Terrible human being, his own speech along the lines of 'this is the 5th time in 6 seasons I have had to go through a play off campaign, this is why we get paid so much' sums up the relentless arrogant self-importance of people in football whilst civilians are being slaughtered in Libya and people in Japan and New Zealand suffer from the aftermath of natural disaster.

2 goals for Borini. 8)

It's good the Swansea board backed BR to sign Sinclair. Reading could afford him at the time BR was there. Borini - another astute loan signing for the run in....

Fully agree. Swansea now appear to have the fire-power. Surprised you let Sinclair go. Looks like a very good player.

If he continues to do well - I'm sure he'll consider a move back to his home.

So another win/loss and it suddenly looks less like "light years" and more like "just down the road past the chippie" between the two sides.

"The pitch was very difficult" continued the Swans boss. "It didn't look like that for the Under-21 match.

"We have seen it over the years - you get a football team coming to a ground and it's your prerogative being the home team.

"But I'm surprised at this level that you walk out on to the pitch and it isn't even cut."

Royalee on March 9th wrote LOL at this having come back to it - so Swansea haven't won for 2 games, they're still light years ahead of us and still very likely to go up.

Could be ahead of them come 7pm on Saturday.

It doesn't take long for things to change in football.

That's why I'm not counting any chickens.

Will he be selling burgers from a concession stand on the day?

Certainly getting close. Always gotta be careful of the form team hitting the playoffs late. A win for both of us this weekend would be perfect (&obviously a C*rdiff loss) - much rather Urz in le mix than Forest!

Jack - how have the team been playing of late? They looked a little unlucky to get beaten by Preston.
