wolsey they will need to start winning regularly at some stage, backs to the wall draws won't help them too much

Except you're forgetting their last 4 league games. I think we'd have all ripped your arm off for 3 draws against City, Spurs & West Ham & then beating Chelsea. All things considered that's an excellent return.

I wasn't, 6 points is probably much better than they could have hoped for. It will be interesting to see if they can keep their defensive solidity when they go out to try and win matches

I wouldn't bet against them. Their fixtures in Mar & Apr look good.

SPARTA Value of QPR's 'bare bones' squad: £89.5m, for 25 players, ave age 29.3. PL teams worth less: 9.

We can take the p1ss all we like but I reckon they're going to stay up.

So do I. I think Reading got their act together far too late and Brian should have been less loyal and more ambitious in the summer. Hopefully we learn and keep building tho.

How do you work that out? improvement since December, any positive result tomorrow and we are out of the bottom 3, plus we have a number winnable home games from here on in. Surely if we had got our act together far too late we would still be 6 points or more adrift at the bottom.

£10M release clause. He is thought to be on £100k a week in Russia too, can't imagine he would volunteer to reduce that by much

I fecking hate everything that QPR stand for, spending money they don`t have, players on enormous contracts, its going to come back and bite them on the arse , and I hope its sooner rather than later.

Samba's club are still playing in Europe and not far off a Champions League spot. There is only one reason you would trade that in to join a team bottom of another league.

Apparently they told Rolando to his name his own salary, but looks like he's still gonna sack them off.

TRANSFER LATEST

Anzhi Makhachkala boss Guus Hiddink says that Christopher Samba has already set off for England to complete a deal, with Queens Park Rangers set to sign the 28-year-old former Blackburn defender.

"It's a shame to talk about this but he didn't even say goodbye, he didn't explain anything to us," Hiddink is quoted as saying in the Daily Mail.

'"Whatever happens to you, you should take into account the people with whom you work."

Don't think Guus is too happy.

He was apparently on £100k a week at Anzhi as well.

Probably taken a £20k a week drop in wages as he can live without the monkey chants.

Loved Arrys interview last night....apparently they only have 18 or 17 players. I know he is illiterate but I always thought Buster his accountant kept him up to speed with numerical matters.

Let's hope Mr Fernandes hasn't been doing anything naughty to get his money and doesn't have his assets frozen or get into trouble with bad people and have to withdraw his support. Or QPR could blow up faster than Pompey.

Samba is a decent enough player but I utterly reject the notion that QPR could pay him anything in excess of £50k pw.

£100k pw would be nothing short of madness.

You think he would just choose to leave a club in Europe, close to getting in the Champions league where he earns £100kpw to play for a team bottom of the league in another country on half the wages?
