Brum Royal It is a situation that always likely to happen with Wigan though. Whilst it was great to see another of the "little guys" like ourselves duking it out in the top league, as soon as they came down they were always going to have to sell most of the squad to keep themselves in some sort of vague financial shape.

Didn't they sign something like 14 players though? - surely it takes time to bed/blend?

Palace did. I don't recall Wigan signing that many. There's going to be a fire sale at Palace next summer too. Anyone for another year older, another injury hit season further on Kebe next July?
