It must be hard to be used for commentating on most games. There's not a lot of room for variation in how you describe what happens on a football pitch.
Um, nope. Not at all.

Sutekh After Andy Townsend and Matt Smith's departure, Adrian Chiles has had his contract with ITV terminated with immediate effect. The BBC's Mark Pougatch will replace him from February.

Silver Fox I can't listen to Talksport commentary because of Matterface advertising a bookies every five minutes and doing it like it's part of the commentary
plus, he stole Natalie Sawyer from me

Sanguine Had the displeasure of Danny Kelly on Talksport on the drive home last night, insisted on shouting appalling 'jokes' over much of what his co-presenters had to say.

From Despair To Where? I thought Robbie Fowler was half decent and Jermaine Jenas was excellent on MOTD last night.

Thing with Chiles is that he always came across as very good on the business programmes like Working Lunch and The Apprentice and he was ok on MOTD2. Very much a cult presenter rather than a light entertainemtn heavyweight though. Another career ruined by ITV. Clearly a career move dictated by money and not surprised it didn't work out.
