aet replay next Saturday – f£cks up Guernsey’s fixture backlog even more but at least they'll have a good chance of progress to the Semi-Finals - doubt if (m)any of the Walsall Wood lads will have ever played in front of 1000+ which could be the likely turn out.2 Shildon 1-1 Ascot United -

... as mentioned above in the 'Preview' - I did get to Avenue Park for SSMP London Tigers 0-5 Oxhey Jets - surroundings were sparse bordering on grim for STEP05 but slightly better than I expected - at least they had Tinnies in the little bar/tea kiosk and a few bench seats. Makes you wonder how loosely applied some of the Ground Grading regulations can be. This place is deemed acceptable yet for example, a nicely turned out little ground like Holmer Green was ruled as unacceptable for this level and they were demoted from the same division a couple of years ago as a result.
I'd expect Tigers are allowed to remain here as, if necessary, they could revert to Silver Jubilee Park in Kingsbury - where one of their 'founding' clubs used to play. They appear to be a very large 'Sport in the Community' type outfit too - - which would count for them. Together with the 'London Borough of Ealing and Southall Community Alliance', they have recently opened or are about to open a much larger sports complex in Spikes Bridge Park about a mile away to the south. Not sure if they have plans to move the football club there permanently.
Home by 17:45 too - not much after the time I'd get back from games at the MadStad
