Fair-play to Arsenal, but Madrid are now 20-1 for the Cup and I am having some of that.

PSG are great to watch. I know they're hardly a fairy tale, being sponsored by a gulf state, but I could watch that team play for days. Definitely the best team in the competition.

Would be quite lolz if they ended up winning it the year after Mbappe leaves.

Bodo/Glimt with one foot in the semis after a convincing 2-0 win against Lazio.

Isn't that a lesson? Paris is a hotbed of football talent, I believe it produces more international players than any other city, so PSG should have one of the world's best academies. And while Doue and Barcola are not academy products, they mark a shift in signing up and coming talent instead of superstars.

And the performance yesterday was in the same week as Mbappe's Madrid lost 3-0 to Arsenal. Though Madrid's "galaticos" approach has bought them plenty of prizes to be fair.

Not sure Zirkzee firing an imaginary assault rifle at the Paris crowd is the brightest idea for a goal celebration taking into account what happened in recent years.

I was just thinking about the least tasteful goal celebrations possible. I have quite a good one. Are we allowed to go there or is it beneath us on the Hobnob?

Not sure why people still rate Madrid. They’re not having a (for them) particularly brilliant domestic season and have not been impressive in the CL either. In transition I think, should be back next season though, when they finally get TAA on board.

Oh go on..... Is it on par with any of Robbie Fowlers guillotine or line of cocaine celebrations.

I was thinking, if you played away at New York City you could score a goal and then have 2 of your team mates stand still, arms by their sides and you could put your arms out wide like and aeroplane and crash into them, and then they could fall over.

In sport crossover news Memphis Grizzlies' Ja Morant got in trouble for doing a rifle celebration when he hit a 3, so he's now taken to pretending to throw a grenade into the crowd

I quite like how that seem as if he is just incapable of thinking of any possibility outside of him miming the murdering of people after he does something good in his chosen sport.

'you know, you could just be happy, smile, punch the air a bit?'

'.....WTF?! how does that even come close to getting across that murdery goodness feeling of scoring a 3 pointer?'

Cracking game - if only Villa had switched on to what they could do with pace and energy about 20 minutes earlier. Some absolutely outstanding saves from Donnarumma.

One thing that struck me was the end, when Emery was walking off past the crowd - there was one tw@ giving him absolutely dog's abuse. Considering how Emery's transformed the club, and how they only just lost in such a tight game, in a Champions League Quarterfinal against one of the best and most expensive teams in Europe, how can anyone be that angry and that blind to reality?

Football fans really are utter dickheads at times!

Less than a decade ago, they got relegated with a front line of Ayew - Gestede - Agbonlahor - Kozak. :|
