Barca dominated tonight but they didn't offer a lot in the final third.

Impressed that Hiddink mentions missed chances before the pens, until Shreeves drags the beef out of him, almost magnanimous, no wonder he's not staying

Although as I type he's getting more in the Stamford Bridge groove

Also, using the 'state and slate' technique with regard to the Henry penalty shout last week meant that he could scratch off one of tonight's without sounding too sore.

we will see. messi is a gifted player, but extremely overrated.. its like when people orgasm over torres just because he scores a hattrick against michael duberry and john halls.

Over the two legs Barca played the better football, created more chances, created more clear cut chances and scored an away goal. Chelsea put 9 behind the ball in the first leg and relied on the long ball whilst Barca played the passing game in both legs - so really the best team DID win

Reason why Drogba acted liked that at the end, was that he knew he was guilty of missing a couple of great chances.
It was if he was paid off, not the referee.

Joker.

LOL at the swathes of emails read out by SSN from Chelsea fans.

"The referee should be banned for life."

"The worst refereeing performance of all time."

"Chelsea were cheated out of their rightful place in the final."

And so on.

CheLOLsea mugged at home in injury time. Nice air-kick from Michael Essien in the build-up, to make up for his earlier goal.

Dunno about creating more chances but they were the only team actually trying to play football and not destroy it - at the risk of sounding philosophical where's the fun in winning the way that Chelsea do?

or don't

Chelsea simply played long ball to Drogba in both games. What clear cut chances did Chelsea really have tonight?
