... well that was frustrating in the least - 2nd blank Saturday in succession

NO games at all survivied from my Preview list locally - indeed the only two that did finish were:

CONFS Bath 1-1 Basingstoke
SOUTHP Weymuff 0-3 Chesham

... astonishingly there was one game played in the N.Berks league at Crowmarsh Gifford - but I'd been there for an evening game late last season. That and the lack of info for leagues down at that level, with the weather the way it was around 14:00, meant I didn't venture out on the off chance - and it must have been a freak chance that that particular game was playable.

Some games scheduled locally this MW if the tide goes out:

Mon: Highmoor/IBIS v Newbury @ Palmer Pk

Tue: matches at Tadley, Cove, Hartley W, Sandhurst, Ascot & Bracknell.
Diddy's game @ North Leigh that was called OFF on Friday has been hastily re-arranged for this night too.

Sluff have two away games this week Tue @ Biggleswade & Thu @ Barton Rovers (that's nr Luton - not the team from Tilehurst! )

After nipping outside early Saturday afternoon, I did actually wonder if games were called off that could have been played.

I mean, yes, there was plenty of snow about, but it wasn't actually that cold. It obviously varied by location, but in sub-tropical Bracknell it was already melting by 3pm, and not exactly all that deep anyway.

Not that I'd have bothered anyway, and maybe that was in the minds of those at clubs - why risk a paltry gate because people don't bother going in the snow?

Sluff have two away games this week Tue @ Biggleswade & Thu @ Barton Rovers (that's nr Luton - not the team from Tilehurst! )

Slough now have 14 league games to play in 5 weeks, with 6 of them in the next fortnight: Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, (Easter) Monday, Wednesday, Saturday. 5 of them are away as well.

Following on from Slough Clarets' comments (welcome to the board by the way!), it's a good job the Windsor boys have come in otherwise the squad would be paper-thin by now, with arguably our best defender (NBH) leaving for a job in Australia and one of the players of the season (Swifty) out with knee problems. The play-offs are still achievable, but it will be very difficult.

He didn't. He was stripped and ready when the Wrexham penalty was awarded and told to sit down again when it went in. Solved the conundrum surrounding whether or not to cheer a 106-er playing for the oppo when surrounded by, what can only be described as, rough types.

... actually turned up @ Cove v Molesey - ref didn't like the loose patches of ice dotted around one goalmouth and called the game off @ 19:55.
Mad dash up past Sandhurst/crowthorne arr Larges La about 20:20 with Robins already 3 down.

Home side dominated 2nd half but wayward finishing and inspired keeping frustrated them until injury time.

Sorry news from Berks/Bucks front : Trophy has been awarded to Aylesbury Utd as both Windsor & Flackwell admit to using ineligible players and are expelled from the competition.
So no Final on the 16th @ Chesham.

He is a stickler, isn't he! Nobody's perfect I guess. Having had over 90 1st teamers this season he's probably mentally exhausted by now!

Just in case anyone is interested:

Monday April 1st - Windsor v Guernsey is a 1pm KO, FREE entry to everyone.

Last free entry game was on 27th December 2011 and the gate was 802, nearly 4 times the normal average. Don't know whether that something similar can be achieved this time (apparently it clashes with Chelsea v ManU replay which is a shame) but should be a good day.

... got to the Camrose - Eastleigh coasted a bit to an easy win - Basingstoke couldn't keep the ball when pressing forwards and were too ponderous in defence against a fast-breaking attack.

... then 'escaped' again early evening to watch the Robins labour to a narrow win over a winless Henley. Home side up 2-0 after 5 mins and a miracle seemed likely. Shot themselves in the foot with a witless Red Card earned for a two-footed tackle on 15'- more of a block than a lunge but the chap was already walking a tightrope with some nasty challenges that had gone unpunished.
Bracknell scored either side of the break but took until the last few minutes to get in front.
