Must admit the anti Rodgers comments post Reading are pretty embarrassing on here. When you criticise is "er, ers" you know you are struggling.

FiNeRaIn oh how i'd LOL if we draw swans at home in the cup, constantly taunted about the play-off walloping throughout the game, outplayed...gylfi smashing one home in front of 4,000 merry swansea fans..rodgers on the sideline conducting another win. Reading fans all bitter and miserable at swanseas dominance.

That would be rather unlikely seeing as we were outplayed by a League 1 side a few weeks ago.

I do definitely see your point though. The anti-Rodgers and Swansea bitterness is pathetic to see from some fans on here. Can't blame SJ for taking the occasional swipe back. And I'm really happy to see Gylfi doing well for them in the Premiership.

He remains the player I was most disappointed to lose. He would still be happy with us in the Championship now if he'd had the option; he is still young enough to have tried to go up with us for a few seasons. He was forced out because of our black hole. If these new owners had come sooner, he's be with us. And if we'd won those 90 minutes at Wembley, he'd be with us now.

That's just football. Frustrating as it may be, I'm just happy to see him doing well. I hope he can reach a top team and become a world class player. Simply because if he doesn't, you have to question whether we'll ever produce a player capable of that.

Alan Partridge He still talks like a retard.

A Rodgers interview must contain

'control'

'mentality'

and lots of

'So err'

A good vocabulary and relaxed confidence in front of a camera have always been pre-requisites of a successful football manager.

Honestly believe he could end up at Chelsea or Man Utd next season, if he keeps up his current rate of development. Could be a long term successor to Scholes/Lampard-type role.

The teams chasing the likes of Modric and Sneijder could take a punt on a cheaper alternative, but it would be a very big step up and a big ask.

He's just a bit annoying.

I like watching Swansea play and I hope they continue to do really well. I'd sooner watch them than just about anyone else in the Premier League, fair play to Rodgers for his part in them doing very well.

Ideal Did they not just lose to bolton or whoever it was, where Swansea had the ball for 99% of the time, yet the other team smashed it in the net twice in the short time they had the ball , meanwhile swansea just like to pass it back and forth between their centre backs?`

Who was the idiot that said this would keep the other team from scoring? How come they f'ing lost then??

Because Bolton scored.

Well they're in the top half of the Premiership and we're outside the play-offs. Just saying. Never seen anybody as blinkered and blinded to the truth as you over Rodgers and Swansea.

I don't know. You have the complete opposite available in Royalee.

I must admit to being a bit surprised as to how well Swansea are doing. I didn't expect them to be bottom 3 but I didn't expect them to be top half either. If anything, their style of play is better suited to the Prem than the Championship. Can they sustain it though?

If I am bitter about Swansea then it is down to Reading being utterly inept for the first half at Wembley. Not Swansea's fault I know but  And I still think that Rodgers would be perfect to take over from Wenger when the time comes.

LOL!!! There are absolutely zero similarities. Wenger in the unbeaten season had his team playing fast penetrating football which produced end product, they were playing direct football with a higher skill set. EFFECTIVE FOOTBALL. That is what Wenger wants.
Rogers just wants to pass the ball about sideways to kill time, and hasn't got any sort of desire to play anything other than INEFFECTIVE football.

Errrrr....

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/16459110 14 Shots on goal v Arsenal
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/16324753 22 Shots on goal v Tottenham
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/16778814 23 Shots on goal v West Brom

I wouldn't call the above evidence of ineffective football.

Let's compare that to Reading

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/16559464 13 Shots on goal v Hull City
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/16324697 9 Shots on goal v Ipswich Town
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/15902113 10 Shots on target v Blackpool

I'm sorry, how many goals did they put past us at Wembley and Arsenal the other week? Yeah you're right, they don't bother attacking you f*cking ring piece.

Waah waah waah, why is Rodgers doing well now when he was an abject failure at my club, IT'S NOT FAIR!!!! Most sensible and reasoned people on here see that Swansea clearly DO play an effective game. If they didn't then I put it to you that Rodgers would have been sacked by Christmas again last season. Instead Swansea finished 3rd and got promoted having beaten Reading three times, facts which rather make your opinion somewhat churlish and, quite frankly, wrong.

I for one berated Rodgers' style while at Reading as degenerative and I maintain that view, but that was significantly due to the fact that we weren't getting results. I can't personally say that I care too much what style we play so long as we get results but when you are using a teabag to make a cup of coffee then you're end result will be disappointing - playing in Rodgers' ideological manner with the likes of Cisse and Rasiak was a recipe for disaster. I'm sure that if we had the players capable of playing in his manner then I'd view his time here differently.

Have you actually watched Swansea at all over the last couple of seasons?
