Anfield Kopite I remember seeing the above video a couple of years back. Is it really ok for Evra to use what most people believe to be the most offensive race related N word and then pretend to be offended when someone calls him Negro or Negritto ?

HAven't watched the video. But it's about context. There's a black sub-culture that has tried to reclaim the word and give it new meaning to them, in that context nothing wrong with it. Other than that they sound stupid.

Not sure what context to put 'suck my pussy motherf***er n***er' in to be honest

Anfield Kopite

I know what your saying but to understand what im saying you need to watch it. I know all about the rap music were blacks say it and think its ok. But to me if you go around calling people Ni**er, dont pretend to be offended when another guy who has black blood in him (Saurez has a black grandfather and im not defending him here) calls you Negro. 1 You are being a bit precious,2 " You are being a bit of a hypocrite.

Man Utd fans also had a 'Clattenburg referee leader legend' banner which made me lol

Jut read that the official complaint is that Clattenberg said 'shut up Monkey'. It was Ramires that says he heard it but admits himself that he struggles to understand English. It is said that 3 Chelsea officials discussed this with Ramires afterwards because they are concerned his language problems and possibly Clattenbergs Geordie accent meant he mis heard 'shut up Mikel'

Talk of Clattenberg instigating legal action for defamation of character.

And understandably so.

Hang him!

This always stunk of Chelsea going off on one with no foundation and the more than comes out the more that seems to be the case.

Clever stuff from Chelsea. it's a sure fire way to make sure they never have to suffer Clattenburg reffing them for a while.

Fergie's well known for using the same tactic.

Of course, all Chelsea fans have taken their new anti-racist stance on board :

So, on the basis of what a couple of players who barely speak English think they heard the ref say to one of their colleagues - who didn't hear anything - Chelsea FC make an offical complaint about the referee???

Seriously???

If this is proved to be bollocks, Chelsea should have some serious sanctions thrown at them, as they are clearly trying to undermine the integrity of a referee.

A fine simply won't do - it will have to be a points deduction; its THAT serious a false allegation, which has come directly from the club.

As predicated, this is an absolute car crash for Chelsea with zero upside and unlimited downside.
