parky Watford deserve to go up after the season they had. Would have gone up automatically had it not been for Almunia getting injured on the final day.

TBMpeterroyal76Upper West Ginger So no trip to "unsightly Croydon Town" for us next season then.
That is a plus side.
But it means another game against Watford......normally end up boring (bar ghost-goal-g8)

Stranded Be interesting to see how Watford play it next year now there is a cap on overseas loans.

They are also still under a transfer embargo until next season

Almunia got injured in the warm up on the last day, their sub keeper Bond got injured in the game and that 19 year old came in and was arguably at fault for both of Leeds goals. I think they also have played better football this season than both Hull and Palace and should have gone up over either of those two. I hope I've cleared that up.

Reading didn't play good football and we won the league.

What is that cap now, how many loan players will Watford have to lose
Not sure about their embargo though, when did that start? Thought they converted a couple of the loans to permanents in January

Super_horns See you all next season then...hopefully the games are better than usual!
Mariappa will get a warm reception - McAnuff not so.
As for transfer embargo - we can still sign players but with prior approval from the league.
Loans situation - league are having a meeting in June to change the rules (well I presume so..).
We will try to sign some of the current loan players on pernament deals (Forestieri signed in January)
In reality - not sure Vydra will for example and maybe not Abdi as he is good enough to play at a high level.
Anya (he's scottish born with a eastern european mother and asian father!) and Pudli seem the most keen to stay.
We'll miss Chalobah more than some of the other loan players.
Palace fully deserve it yesterday - no complaints.

Royalclapper Bit of a poor showing yesterday from your lot Horns.
I can't believe such free scorers failed to trouble Speroni for almost the entire game. Doyley had a pretty decent game and Almunia did everything he could to keep you in it, apart from that the rest were a bit disappointing. Must have been frustrating knowing they're capable of a better shift than that.
