To be honest, I'm not going to watch this year's final, it's still going to be contested between two bunch of cheats.

I'd rather watch the FA Cup final.

Gus the teenage cow
handbags_harris The worst refereeing display in history some are saying. It was the best refereeing display I've seen since I first saw a ball being kicked

Fcukin Chelsea - absolutely love it

putting the refereeing issus aside for a moment, i actually thought apart from the pique handball and the abidal sending-off he did well (but the cheats appeal for everything so it looks worse than it is)

the better team won, football won

the cheats, this disgusting excuse for a club are out and it's so sweet

drogba should be banned from ever playing football again, he is the worst example of a footballer i have ever seen

'greed. Kick cheats out of football including Drogba, Ronaldo, Torres, and the arch-diver Stephen Gerrard.

nawww, drogba and ronaldo are much bigger cheats than liverpools two, they don't generally moan, whine, dive and time-waste their way through games, come to think of it drogba is even on a different planet of gamesmanship than ronaldo (i.e. he is a bigger cheat) and that is indeed saying something

whatever the level of their cheating, the two of them are bad examples to kids, conartistry is becoming more rpevalent at youth level largely down to these two scumbags, give me the integrity of messi any dya of the week, he is a much better player too

Am I the only one thinking that even on the slow motion replays it took a split second to get from Anelka's foot to Pique's hand?

It was out, yes but there was nothing he could have done .

Watch it again in real time.

Also...CheLOLsea. Hopefully Drogba and Ballack will get retrospective bans for their actions. RESPECT campaign my arse, Chelski can oxf*rd off.

Chelsea got what they deserved last night; trying to sit on a 1 goal lead at home even when Barcelona went down to 10 men was a disgrace.

Did no-one else think it ironic that Barcelona's goal was scored in the injury time caused by some typical Drogba faking (when he went down clutching his face, even the Chelsea fans sat next to me in the pub were embarrassed); for him then to rant at the ref, especially having missed a sitter when only the keeper to beat (as he did in the first leg) was hilarious.

Nice one Didier - thats the second season running you have cost your club the chance of winning the European Cup.

I totally agree that the ref was rubbish - though I note that none of the Chelsea fans bleating about the bloke seem to count sending of a player who was 2 yards away from Anelka as the donkey tripped over his own feet as a mistake.....

As for calling Barcelona a plastic club; hilarious!! How many plastic flags did Barcelona give their fans to wave before the semi at the Nou Camp?? Barcelona are owned by their fans, whilst i think you will find that Chelsea ar owned by a Russian billonaire who saved them from going out of business and treats them as his plaything...so which club is plastic again??

To quote that well known Chelsea fan who loves to post on the Team board....

....Chelsea were shiite.

it says a lot about Chelsea that even patriotic people like me wanted them to lose.

That result -and especially in thatmanner-gave a lot of pleasure to a lot of people all over Europe....................and in England.

The ref was such a cheat he gave Chelsea nothing all night, except he did send a player off, hmmm.

If Doobs had been playing Barca would not have scored, the Chelsea defender had time to clear from in front of his goal, only had to wack it into the stand, instead let the brca player get the ball even tho he was favourite, then a weak attempt to win the ball back as it was laid off for the goal.

Awful defending as well, as the cross came in Barca had two players alone at the far post.

LOLZ @:

29% possesion
Drogba losing his nerve on 4 straight forward chances
Essien's comedy clearance attempt leading to Barca's goal
Ref even sending off a Barca player incorrectly to make your task easier

Double lolz @ Chelsea fans always blaming anyone but themselves for their constant failures

Last night reminded me of why I love football.

The ref was clearly a cheat - but who cares!

The funniest end to a football game in a long time.
