Don't spose they've met competitively at this kind of level for some considerable time?

Maidenhead's 1-0 defeat at Forest Green mean that Reading are the last Berkshire Club left in the F A Cup. Congratulations are therefore due to Brian and his team.

M3 behaved on the way back - arr. home at about 18:15. - much cheered by the news from Turf Moor 8)

Was a bit dull, but Scott Murray had a pretty good game, up against Matty Robinson amusingly enough.

Four Of Clubs HELLP
....
Bracknell Town 3-3 Carterton att 54

Cracking game, with BTFC equalising with a comedy goal in the 95th minute of normal time when a defensive hoof out of the 6 yard box hit the back of the head of a defender on the edge of the area and looped over the keeper and into the net. This is what football is all about. :) :)

The 95th minute of normal time?

Have the Hellenic League gone crazy and changed the rules of association football?

I hear Windsor & Eton are on the brink of Administration. They need £10,000 in the next few days to stave off for a bit and try and get some more money in. Wages are, apparently, £8k-£10k a week! :o

Incorrect. It's £8-10k per month.

I won't bore you with the details (there's a lot of them) but interesting times that's for sure.

A little research goes an awfully long way.

http://www.windsorobserver.co.uk/sport/football/articles/2010/10/22/48994-royalists-needs-overhaul-of-finances/

The salient point to back up RR's comments:
“The playing budget alone is £2,500 per week so it’s important people see the full picture and what is needed to keep the club at this level.”

Another non league club spending well beyond their means. I heard they were paying serious wages per game to their players while Keith Scott was their manager but crowds stuck around 150-200.

Surely clubs in non league don't want to end up in a situation like Hornchurch and Weymouth?

What is frightening is the gap between income and expenditure. More frightening is the length of time that this has been allowed to go on.

There really are no excuses for what has happened at W&E but, having been at both of the recent "crisis meetings" there are, I guess you could call them, extenuating circumstances for the worsening of the position during the last few years, most significantly, ironically, during Keith Scott's time as manager.
