Not really. They're 7th and got to the Champions League quarter final
If RVP, Ferdinand, Vidic and Rooney had stayed fit for the whole season they would be even better

A terrible decline in results, and position in the League table. Champions down to 7th. (It didn't have to be relegation to be a dismal failure in The League y'know!)
Terrible waste of money in the transfer market.
Unfathomable game strategies and team selections.
Lost the dressing room (by all accounts).
I'm not going to exercise my mind too much, but I really can't think of a single thing he hasn't failed in.

"They got to the Champions League quarter final"- that's like saying a team reached the second round of the FA Cup.

Kitsondinho Gonna take more than getting rid of Moyes to turn the rot around though...

When Moyes said United had produced outstanding football at Goodison, the perplexing thing is that he actually sounded like he meant it. When they were losing 2-0 and conspicuously short of ideas, his assistant, Steve Round, produced a ring binder entitled "set-pieces" and it was tempting to wonder whether they understood this club, with its history of spontaneous brilliance, and the first requirement of genuinely exciting football.

Exactly.
Appoint Van Gaal and he still has only half a team.
