I find that a little sad.

Saints took a chance which worked out and all they get is one and a bit seasons before one of the "Big 6" some and nick him.

Mind you, they treated Adkins like crap, so I suppose what goes round comes around.

I'm not sure 'took a chance' is the best description of what they did tbf. Poch was hot property even when Saints snapped him up, that's why they unceremoniously sacked Nige despite being in a decent position... Cortese knew he wouldn't be on the open market for long.

Will be the first good decision Spurs have made for a while though, top manager.

Won't be long before Terry Butcher leaves Hibs after Monday's capitulation to Hamilton Accies, and the fan protests after the game.

What on Earth possessed him to leave Caley Thistle (who were 2nd at the time) to go and join Hibs? Talk about error of judgement!

I would be worried if I were a Saints fan, manager gone and vultures circling over their better players - Shaw, Lallana - they could easily be relegation candidates next season.

Will his new contract at Spurs enable him to afford English language lessons?

Hope so........

He can speak English, just chooses not to in interviews so that his comments aren't taken out of context.

Bollocks!

Avoid FA fines more likely.

Not speaking English in England is disrespectful.

But he does speak English (just youtube it) - he's just playing the media at their own game and fair play to him.....

But anyway, isn't this just another AVB type appointment - i can't see it ending well

Who's he speaking to then?

I don't understand your argument....if his interpreter changes what he says to be "media friendly" then what harm is being done, if nobody actually knows the context of his comment(s)?!
