My post was about Man UTD,not City.
Think before you post and don't just dive in with both feet and waste people's time.

ITV have confirmed they will be screening Utd AND City games on ITV1 for the Europa league...... (whereas previously they haven't touched the competition, which was initially my point)

I'm sure they usually show the final but I'm not going to make a big song and dance about it

Nick Shorey my Lord! Did I hear correctly from R5L that Anderlect and Ajax were teaming up to have a pop at TMD?

TBMVictor Meldrew How does it go "Thursday night channel 5 " sang the Man Utd fans in their old glory days of yesteryear.
Thing is, ITV1 are now screening the Europa league games with Utd and City

This is what you wrote,i.e Utd and City.
My point was that Man utd were indeed covered by Channel 5 last night so the comment by me was spot on whereas you took it upon yourself to attempt a correction of my post.
Can you not see that your post was a waste of time?
It's stuff like yours that drives decent posters away from the board,a board that used to be fun and not full of aimless failed attempts at point scoring by people who don't check their facts first.
Anyway ,addressed to punters out there, Man Utd were a stonking 4/5 last night instead of what they should have been (about 1/2 )playing an Ajax side having a dreadful season both on and off the pitch and are only 6th in their very poor league, nothing like the standard of the past.
It was the equivalent of Man Utd playing somebody like Crystal Palace......oh!
FWIW I had a very rare bet for me on Man Utd and the result was never in doubt especially with Evra not being around to cause any trouble.

TBMNo Fixed AbodeTBM Thing is, ITV1 are now screening the Europa league games with Utd and City
City are on ITV1 later tonight and United are on Channel 5 - prog starts in just under an hour.
Yeah, what i meant was how ITV suddenly jump on the bandwagon when the "bigger" clubs are in Europe, but did fcuk all with the Europa league before now

BR2 Perhaps you ought to take a little more time and care into what you post.
Get down off your own high horse and enjoy the game which is also on SkySports 2 just in case there is any doubt.
At this stage I'm not sure what Sky channel the Leeds and Saints games will be on but they will definitely not be on ITV or Channel 5.
