Ian Royal
royalexile Tony Adams does come across as a bumbling, rambling manager. Perhaps it's just his personality but wheres the passion needed for such a position.

Outward passion doesn't necessarily equal quality. See Coppell.

I thought that to be considered a quality manager you had to actually win something? :?

My mistake. He also won the Zenith Data Systems Cup in 1991.

Top manager.

Its all relative, isn't it TMD.

Quality Premiership manager? No. Quality manager for Reading/Championship? One of the best.

Harsh - if you discount the Championship, then you'd have to say Citeh haven't won anything either since 1976.

Kaka will be staying at AC Milan.
To be honest, that's the best decision for the player - too much too early for City.

Fair play to the boy, a show of character and drive for success, not money.

Gives me faith that the game isn't just being driven by money any more.

All the reports I have heard this morning state that Kaká was more than happy to join City but in the end felt they were taking too long in their negotiations and started to doubt the seriousness of it all.

Milan agreed a £95M transfer fee over a week ago, apparently.

I think Milan were quite sneaky in all this - they accept the bid from City and make it public they couldn't refuse but then make it hard for City to talk to Kaka thus making City look like they are arrogant and not really interested, so Kaka decides to stay put
(personally im pleased - im starting to really dislike City, despite liking Hughes)

The whole year inn
TheMaraudingDog Silly figures being knocked around involving City and Kaka. One report suggests a transfer fee of £150m and wages of £500k a week

TheMaraudingDog We don't know whatthe price is yet :?

LOL @ City fans welcoming in new owners saying this is their time, just as they did a year ago.
LOL @ City bidding for Ronhino a sign of intent knowing they have no chance of signing him and LOL @ City fans being impressed by that.

:?

Broadmoor is missing a patient

Kaka has said he thinks that City weren’t serious and were using him for publicity and Robhino walks out.

TMD – right on the mark 8)

MiniRoyal Pennant to Pompey.

I can only assume that any interest by Milan, the Madrid clubs and other Spanish sides died - if not this move sums up everything that is wrong with English footballers.

Interesting one. Cisse pissed all over him when we played them, so wouldn't be too concerned if that went through.
