Zammo And you've yet to list one ex-Chelsea pro  Mind you, i've done that for you  CheLOLsea fan

I don't think you've quite grasped it.

There are more ex-Liverpool players currently in high profile media jobs over any other team. It's not an argument, it's a fact.

But isn't that cos Liverpool (and United) were the dominate force of English football, so the media world tend to think the casual football fan who hangs on pundits words would respect them more than say someone like John Bumstead saying it was a foul or not.

Maybe if Chelsea didn't employ a load of immigrants taking our money/not paying taxes and then disappearing off home when their contracts were over they'd have more of a TV pundit presence. Hopefully Farage will sort it all out for you Kes.

You like diversity and immigration but you don't like diversity in your football pundits?

Make your mind up.

Do you actually think that ex-Liverpool players are biased in their punditry?

Have you got examples of that? Don't think I've ever seen it.

Where have I said they're biased in their punditry?

All I've said is there is an over representation of ex Liverpool players in the media which is true.

Yeah, I think we're heard you say that once or twice, m8.

I'm just not sure why anyone should care, unless they're actually biased towards Liverpool in their punditry.

Hang on, you think that I care about there being lots of Liverpool players in the media, on the basis that I asked you why you cared about it?

Does that work?

Wait there, aren't you one that champions diversity and immigration also? In that case, I thought you like a bit more diversity with your football pundits too?

Contrarily, your posting style really demonstrates your dislike of diversity in any form whatsoever.

Not at all. I'd love a 'wider spread' of football pundits. There are, after all, 91 other league clubs.

But Liverpool haven't been a dominant force in the English game for 25 years. Things have change a lot in that time. The back pass rule hadn't even come to fruition then.

Well, 20-30 other clubs are also represented by your list of "Liverpool" players.

Still doesn't alter the fact that next to no-one gives a oxf*rd who the pundit played for.

Massive new TV deal announced. SKY and BT have the budget to employ another few ex Liverpool players as pundits.

IF that is true Mr 'Lampard's got the most assists, oh i just made it up'. Then it's because Liverpool have been one of the two biggest teams in the country with more of the best players from the periods that pundits come from and more of them want to pursue media careers rather than coaching or management.

I'm sure Chelsea, for example, would be better represented if they 'd been any good for more than 10 - 15 years and hadn't built the success they've had almost exclusively on foreign imports who've gone home or into coaching.

Very hypocritical to say this and defend the tv companies for their choice of ex - Liverpool pundits, seeing as you're pro-immigration.......

I've not said anything about my preference of TV pundits. Just given you a possible reason why your favourite ex-Chelsea players haven't ended up as pundits. I'd quite like a bit more variety and not particularly from the top few clubs. The best managers weren't the best players and I don't see why that would be any different for being a pundit. No love or hatred for Liverpool from me.
