Haven't seen the incident in question but that ^ sums up modern day fans.
Sorry, that was shorthand. I'm not a modern day fan, one of the older school, hopefully still with old-school views on things.
In my book, a dive is anything whereby a player goes down with fresh air between him and the other player = simulation.
Suarez was touched (despite what Kes and 69% of Scientologists think) - that does not "entitle" him to go down, but he did. I don't think there was enough of a directional change forced on him by the contact, so he "took advantage" = exaggeration.
Yeah, probably two sides of the same coin, but there it is. Neither is acceptable, but I won't change my view that every fan of every club would scream for a penalty if it was their team.
