Just read that his 2nd ban this season was for urinating outside Forest Green's stadium.

I did LOL that after urinating outside the ground because it was taking too long to get in, he was told he was not allowed into the ground, so he went off out of sight of the ground swapped clothes with a mate, tried to get back in but they somehow recognised him again! no idea how they recognised him with a different jumper on tbh

The way I see it, If you're going to get sent off for pushing the ref then go full Di Canio and shove him properly.

Looks like it’s only Man United players that can shove officials and get away with it

Haven’t ManU been drawn at home in every round and won each game 3-1?

Saw a lot of idiots actually defending Mitrovic on Twitter. Yes I know it is Twitter but there were reasonably well respected sport accounts defending Mitrovic.

The reason there is a shortage of grassroots referees are because of incidents like this taking place up and down the country in parks on a Saturday and Sunday morning. You don't touch a match official, open and shut case.

Bradford getting some great attendances in for the 4tier (as usual)

With a season ticket their matches work out at £8.60 a game

What have you heard? Are the FA not dishing out a heavier ban?

Nothing, just saying that putting hands on a match official isn't an open and shut case depending on who you are or more importantly who you play for

Bruno Fernandes has pushed a referee just as much as Mitrovic this season without so much as a yellow.

Now Mitrovic should have the book thrown at him, but it would be good to have a little consistency

The issue is Fernandes wasn't punished by the referee on-field or VAR at the time was he? Hard to then go back and punish him for that. I agree he should have been at the time though.

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t think we should be going retrospective, it’s just that there does seem to be some ‘favouritism ‘

Fernandes should have gone as I think any non friendly touch of an official should be a red. But they are quite different types of shoves, and I can see why BF shove wasn't seen in the same way when it happened
