Add to that the fact that half the football press climbed up his arsehole 20 years ago and show no sign of leaving. so every time it all goes wrong his fan club chimes up with the "poor hard done by Arry" tune instead of "That's another fine mess you've got us into Arry".

Anybody who buys into the "I'm resigning to have my knees done" BS is a moron; what job in this Country would you have to resign because you were going to have any sort of surgery? What would happen is that they would bring in a temporary person to cover whilst the employee is of recuperating, and when they recover, they take their job back.

Basically one of 2 things happened; 1. he got sacked and agreed to go quietly if they put out this BS or 2. he resigned because he wasn't allowed to bring in his usual quota of 5 or 6 players in January (all through the same agent oddly enough.....................)

QPR get relegated and, as with Southampton, his meejay chums will say that it wasn't his fault.

Oh, and I bet his knees won't be so painful as to stop him appearing as a pundit!
