Haag Royal
Lower West SC appears to be giving everyone an opportunity to impress (or otherwise). While trying out various formations. New season. Expect changes and fewer formations.

Expect a new manager as well.

We can but hope.

As the wise man in the west stand once said back on boxing day 2003, "You're useless Coppell, You'll get this club relegated".

Comparing Coppell to Clarke? Difference is Coppell didn't have a record of played 12, points for 7.

If he had, wise man would have been bang on mate

No not comparing Coppell to Clarke, comparing idiots to another idiot.

Clarke has made mistakes, quite a few of them silly ones, but I'd like to give him a chance to get his own personnel in over the summer and if he hasn't shown improvement next season then it would be time to look at his position as manager.

Seem to remember the way Coppell told the story was that the guy said it would happen before he got them near promotion.

sandman Basically, the alternative is to play Nick Blackman.

Or Cox, or Appiah or Yakubu today.

Or Travner with Obita on the left wing.

Or Fosu on the left.

Funny how Pog was injured for a league game before Wembley and has been (presumably) injured since too. Presume he just can't be arsed with the rest of the season. I understand the feeling.

Royal Rother Really?

Worse record than Adkins in most facets and has signed Knight, Yakubu and Appiah.

He's got a lot to do to prove himself to me.

Why would he need to prove himself to you more than the fans who actually attend games and support the club?

Maybe it would help if he liked Azerbaijani prog.

Colin Cheeselog
ayjaydee First minute of today's game he couldn't be arsed to go for a through ball, admittedly probably only a 30/70 chance but it set the tone for a woeful performance yet again. Rarely have I seen a player flatter to deceive so often and make a career out of 1 good game in every 5 or 6.
Please just oxf*rd off.

I assume you mean 1 good game I'm every 5 or 6 years?

Can anyone remember that 1 good game though?

He looked good in the last Prem season. I remember him whipping in a couple of decent crosses from the left this season and he's scored a couple of goals. But that doesn't add up to a consistent starting place in my mind.

He doesn't. I speak only for myself. Would you rather I'd said "he's got a lot to do to prove himself to the fans"?

I suspect most fans have been seduced by the FA Cup Semi and aren't haven't stopped to think too deeply about how shite his record is in reality.

Can't stop - Spotify calls....

So what? Even if that's true (which is so obviously isn't) trying hard is not why footballers are employed and paid huge sums of money. He has to deliver on match days and contribute something, anything. It's not even admirable that you are supporting this incompetent waste of skin. He's crap. He's bleeding RFC of money and giving absolutely nothing back.

There, I said it.

Jamie Mackie and Jem Karacan have made a career out of doing this.

They deliver results doing it.

Sorry, I'm not sure I understand if "this" refers to trying hard or delivering? I would suggest that both Karacan and Mackie do deliver something, even if hard work is their way of delivering it.

HRK KEEPS PLAYING-WHY?

by elmpark99 » 26 Apr 2015 13:30

Why does he get selected nearly every week?, Is it something in training we do not see (if it is it does not get transferred onto the pitch during the game)

When he plays, he does he not get substituted when he is the most obvious under performer on the pitch

When the other team have the ball and are attacking us why is he never near any of their players marking them. His pointing skills are better than his tackling ones. This is so annoying . Do any of the group of "10 watchers" (the ones that all stand around when the team warm up) of SCs actually note any of this. If they want to come up to East stand we can show them.

The team have not been very good all season , FA cup games aside, and most players have had an off day where they have made mistakes, or not played very well, but HRK has topped the leader board for this most weeks.

I know we have limited options but think that replacing him ,and bringing in a new striker are a priority for the club .

If he looked at Mackie for effort he may learn something.

It would be great to see him perform well, but we have run out of waiting time.

Is the point of HRK to be the litmus test for Steve Clarke's tenure. If he can't see that he's rubbish, then he may not be a real manager.
