2-0

Suarez is the best player in the League. Dread to think what he'll do to England in June.

Friend texting me about how great Liverpool are and they are top of the league

He's only been to Anfield twice. Both times with me in the RFC end

Would rather see LFC win title than muggy Chelsea.

3 0, could be loads more.

Loris shouldn't be beaten from such an angle ( Suarez) or distance ( Coutinho).

My fears are that Chelsea will (by default/own goal/refereeing indescretion/JTgoal) scab it

I have enjoyed our games against Liverpool in our non-too-distant past.....pretty much because we have had the better of them....I have enjoyed no footballing moment more than the 0-2 down last season against Chelsea when we came back to 2-2.............the look of total devastation on their players faces and the BIG f11ck off to their arrogant fans into the bargain

......will be mildly satisfying to see the scowzers wipe the smirks off of our southbank Londoners faces

Chelsea and Liverpool - two awful clubs each with two insufferably arrogant c[u]nts as their managers. The only difference between the two is that Liverpool have a bit more history.

City for the title with the added bonus that their players, management and fans so far haven't shown themselves to be totally devoid of any redeeming qualities.

Suarez & Sturridge - 49 goals

Only Arsenal , Manchester United, Chelsea & City have scored more PL goals than them 2 this season

pardon?

If your opinion is anything to go by Col. Sanders...and if you are right

I am bailing out of this football thing totally

We sacked one of our biggest assests three weeks too early...now you begrudge him his successful career path?

Brendan is giving his "special one" mentor a master class right now

Sit back and embrace..we are (indirectly) part of it :D

Liverpool fans would be absolutely insufferable if they win the PL (they're bad enough at the moment as it is). But, if they were to win the league this year then you'd have to take your hat off to them - stats like that make you realise how good they've been this season.

A few months back i couldn't stand Liverpool (still don't like their fans) but i gotta say if anyone is to win the league this season i want it to be them - purely for the fact how well they've been playing, against the "bigger" teams too. I can't really remember a fixture where they have been outplayed and hats off to them, they haven't really got that much of a different side to the one they had last season.

It’s been some run for Liverpool, 8 in a row when many were questioning if they would last the pace. Few would have predicted the title would be in Liverpool’s hands with 6 games to go. And they only need 5 wins, so long as the draw is at home to Chelsea.

That said, I think Mourinho might conjure a win at Anfield, and that that will let City in to win the title. On recent form you don’t see City or Liverpool failing to win their other fixtures.

Hatred of Rodgers is frankly ridiculous. And to be honest, so too are over-the-top claims of some ‘arrogance’ that blights his management. He is a confident guy with a ten year apprenticeship working with some top coaches. His methods were evident in his previous jobs and now he is one of the most highly rated young managers in the game, and deservedly so. His impact on the development of players like Sturridge, Henderson and Sterling has been ridiculous really; a striker with a career going nowhere, a £20m flop, and a lightweight teenager with 15 kids all now potentially title-winners. And he has managed Suarez and the transfer saga brilliantly – not many managers would have had the balls to take a striker threatening to leave and have him training with the kids.

44 goals in 13 games since the new year, yesterday was the 11th time this season that have scored 4 or more.

Can't argue with any of that, Sanguiners.

Much as he's a rather risible character, much of the scoffing at "Being Liverpool" and all that was because of a perception that he hadn't had the success or status to justify his self-regard. That can hardly be levelled at him now.

He has done a phenomenal job this season. It will be fascinating to see whether longer term he can build a decent defence and manage the retirement of Gerrard, but he will be massively helped in that project by the fact that, in a single season, Liverpool have gone from being a club top players want to leave to a club top players will want to join.

This is probably also a great place to say that Coutinho for £8m from Inter was amazing business - especially considering the sizable fees yesterday's opponents paid, for flops.
