TBM Nobody is worth that, especially not Bale

But once you include the rights to his nonsense trademark...

Levy has delusions of grandeur - he thinks Spurs are a bigger club than they actually are. Just sell Bale to the most infamous club in the World and be done with it.

Where do Real Madrid get their dosh from? I know they are the most successful club in the world ever etc etc, but by jeepers they must see a lot of it go up in smoke.

Barca fans are always going on about them being a government backed club but I thought there was little money left in the Spanish treasury coffers in any case. Is signing Bale really worth not spending vital cash on providing prescription medication to countless Spaniards? - Obviously not.

Franco Madrid methinks.

He will, he's just trying to get as much cash as possible.

Exactly, Real Madrid are so desperate to buy him - whether its because they generally think he's amazing or just want to counter Barca's Neymar - that I reckon they'll buy splash even more cash

Cheers, interesting stuff. Some of the figures in that article are simply eye watering. What a brazen move to take a healthy % chunk of the players outside sponsorship money, there are very few clubs who could actually use this strategy and not be snubbed by potential transfers.

It's particularly impressive when the rest of the country is well and truly on its uppers.

"Sky Sources" suggest RM have made £85m bid.

Sky reporting it as fact, obviously.

Also Spurs fans are cacking it as the official facebook page has just changed its cover photo from Bale to Vertonghen.

Is that the Sky Source do you think?

i think most 'spurs fans of long standing hope the lilywhites take the £85,000,000 and invest in a quality strike force...been the achilles heel for a good while now down the lane...bale's goals should be the icing on the cake, not the flour eggs milk sugar and all...

I think Bale will br a top player but 95 million is way too much for somebody at his age and still to have 3-4 really good seasons in a row.

Rumours that Barca may be in the market for an actual defender, and that that man is Vincent Kompany.

Yep, strange Spuds let him go, although my Swans supporting m8 reckons he's a bit of a mentalist. Kicks off when he doesn't play and ting.
