Absolute joke of a club

Laughing stock of England right now, people who support them must be embarrassed

Quite enjoyed Neville on commentary saying 'that's the most Spurs thing you'll ever see' after the winner goes in

It is though. They are the club that just keeps giving. The ultimate banter club though Chelsea are trying to steal that crown.
The fact "Spursey" will no doubt enter the English dictionary is a testimony to that.

Someone on twitter:
Richarlison's season:

Goal, takes shirt off, disallowed, booked.
Goal, takes shirt off, disallowed, sent off.
Goal, takes shirt off, does chicken dance, booked, Liverpool go up the other end and win it anyway.

He was made for Spurs.

Both managers whinging about the refereeing after the game. Don’t understand it

Perhaps Klopp should be focusing on how simple Spurs’ third goal was, rather than the decision to award the freekick. Likewise Mason as to why his side concede so many goals on a regular basis

Stop focusing on the uncontrollable and fix what is controllable

YorkshireRoyal99 That's got to be the most Spursy game in a long while. Disastrous start, get back into it with an incredible comeback and then lose 60 seconds later in injury time. Just heard that Liverpool only had 4 shots on target as well.

When will it change.

As Conte said (and Mourinho alluded to it) - this team simply can’t deal with pressure

All well and good playing football at 3 down but to give away a goal like that at the end - it’s so poor

Credit to some extent for not capitulating going 3-0 down so early into the game but it’s the same old story. 1 point from 18 against the “big seven”, now including Newcastle in this away from home isn’t good enough

Tbf, Jota should’ve been sent off 100%

All true but Conte was there for long enough to at least put something in place to make a difference, he hasn't been short on investment either yet he's blown up again like he does at every club, so the manager has to take some responsibility for it.

Of course, at the same time, some of the recruitment hasn't been good enough and some players in that squad aren't good enough. A back three of Romero, Dier and Ben Davies isn't winning you anything unfortunately.

Tbf, Jota should’ve been sent off 100%

How many times do we see someone that shouldn’t be on the pitch score ?

Diego Costa three matches in a row, Luis Suarez to name but two
And now Jota

How was that challenge not a red ?

Yes probably should have been even if there was no intent as it was dangerous play and I guess Richarlison's reputation for diving worked against him when he went down in the box late on.
However remember the saintly Kane not getting a red earlier in the season although of late he has been show up to be less of a saint with his own diving.

I remember Mane getting sent off for attempting to beat the keeper to the ball (against City perhaps?) with a raised foot but I can't recall anybody else since and it happens most weeks.
Skipp however shouldn't have been on the pitch-his potential ankle-breaking challenge on Diaz wasn't even considered worth a yellow in the eyes of the useless Tierney.

Our referees really are poor (stating the bleedin' obvious) and probably only Oliver and Gillett (who is Australian) can be considered as generally reasonable but even Oliver can miss things; wasn't he the ref who missed Pickford's season-ruining challenge on Van Dijk or was it Taylor?

As for manager interviews and interviews in general they are IMHO a waste of time as they will only be biased

Everton are gone, look totally defeated.

The year they come into the Championship we go down to play Shrewsbury Town. What is life?

They’ll come down with all of that lovely parachute payment money. One less relegation place that will be filled….and one more that we would've…….probably….likely…….looking on the bright side

SSN claimed at the weekend that some of their players don't have wage reduction clauses, so Everton will be using their payments to keep their heads above water if that's the case. They're already being investigated for breaching FFP, and somehow are finding the money to continue with the build of BMD.

This must be the most unpredictable relegation battle in years. Would be funny to see Everton and Leeds drop mind you!

Will be interesting to see if Spurs do go for Rodgers
