Silver Fox Which bunch of cheats? Lucio spent twice as much time rolling on the floor as any of the Barca players did!

Can you blame him? Just fuelled by a sense of injustice.

I forgot he had the "they started it miss" defense

I saw the highlights this morning and I saw the sending off. There was even a close up of the "victim". The "victim" peeked through his hands to see whether he could get up or stay down. Definitely play-acting there. Disgusting behaviour, just what you expect of a Barcelona player.

Why do you expect that from a Barcelona player?

Had it been an Inter player, I'm sure you'd have said exactly the same.

I say it because of their behaviour against Chelsea in previous seasons.

IIRC, he was moaning about how long it took for the ambulance to arrive, but they were asked if they wanted an ambulance and they said no. Then they decided that they actually needed one. So why say no to the question in the first place? Their fault.

Predictable response. I fully appreciate the fact that it was an excellent defensive performance, but in terms of watching the game from a neutral's point of view, I'd much rather see the team actually trying to make it a spectacle win the game..

They were 3-1 up. Why on earth would they try and win the game? I'm sorry as a neutral you didn't get to watch messi nutmeg six players and cheap the keeper in an 8-3 win for Barca, but football doesn't work like that.

winchester_royal And if anyone honestly thinks that an Inter player wouldn't have done exactly the same as Busquets to get a Barca player like Xavi sent off then they're completely deluded.

So you are saying every player on the Inter team would have rolled around on the floor, peaking through their hands to check when it was ok to stop faking? LOL.

winchester_royal Even more amusing is how everyone on here seems to be in love with Mourinho. Obviously forgotten everything he said about us after the Hunt/Cech incident....

I don't remember getting too annoyed about it personally. And another LOL if you think we wouldn't have wanted our manager to do the same if one of our players nearly died (whether an innocent challenge or not).

Face it, just take your medicine and admit you got this one wrong. Stick to insider knowledge on arab takeovers....

How long an ambulance takes is not a criticism of the club though is it :?:

iirc they were offered the choice of sitting cech upright on a wheelchair to get him up the lift, or wheeling him round the pitch - both equally ridiculous tbf

Maguire Arsenal comparisons are obvious and accurate. Excellent point someone made up there ^^ about the short corner at the end. I don't like them at the best of times but I was doing my pieces when they did that right at the death. Any team that doesn't stick a free cross into the box with 30 seconds left need their heads checking.

Wasn't just set plays. How many times did they get the ball wide, then just play it square 30 yards from goal. The times they did stick it in their, Inter flapped and Barca had their best chances.

Wow, please be more patronising  . I'm not saying Inter were wrong to try and do it, but over 2 legs they had a grand total of 6 attempts on goal. Fair enough, footbal is about the final score, and if I was an Inter fan I wouldn't give a shit TBH, but I'm a neutral, and as such I'd rather see the team trying to play football win.

Yes, that is exactly what I'm saying, and if you think they wouldn't do everything they could to help their team get to the Champions League final then LOL at you.

Would I want my manager acting like a spoilt brat after an obvious accident, which would lead to death threats against an opposition player? No, no I wouldn't.

And as for your little slur on 'insider knowledge', you're right to point out that what I said on that thead didn't materialise, but that's because of other reasons, and you only have to look at who first broke the news of Rodgers' dismissal 24 hours before it was annnounced to see that I wasn't bullshittting.
