Great weekend for the bookies. Guy from Coral on Talksport this morning said that they only had 3 significant acca wins over the weekend.

A little late but here goes:

I went to Brighton away on Boxing Day and placed this bet:

All the other games had finished, I was just waiting on the game I was watching which kicked off a few minutes late. I just needed us to hang on to a 2-1 lead for the bet to come in. Brighton equalise with virtually the last kick of the game. Bet lost. Right in front of my eyes.

Then went to the very next league away game, Fulham, and placed this bet.

All the other games had finished, I was just waiting on the game I was watching which kicked off a few minutes late. I just needed us to hang on to a 1-1 draw for the bet to come in. Fulham scored the winner with virtually the last kick of the game. Bet lost. Right in front of my eyes.

It wouldn't have been so bad if I wasn't at both games and watched it happen.

Sad times.

I'm still cursing at the memory of losing out on £150 from Ashley Barnes' equaliser at the Etihad. City then denied me another £100 or so the following weekend.

And I was on the Skybet enhanced treble again today -Chelsea, Southampton and City - bringing the total that City have denied me to nearly £400 since Christmas.

Phucking pcunts.

After the event but had

Reading, Brentford, Bournemouth Treble £10 returned £170 - Cashed out for £90 :(
Reading, Bournemouth Double £20 returned £136 - Cashed out for £120 :(
Draw/Reading £2.50 returned £20
Spurs @ 3/1 (Whilst 1-1) £20 returned £60 - Cashed out for £50
Spurs and Everton Double £5 returned £57 - Cashed out for £15

Took the view of profit > today rather than being greedy.

Had no luck all season. 1 win and wasn't even significant. 9 weeks and counting that 1 team have messed me up. Man City takes the blame for most of it.

Cashing out is best way to bet - greedy people don't, most then end up losing.

Cash out is the bookie's win, reducing potential exposure, as you demonstr8d nicely.

 and all the loosing bets? If the fella up there had cashed with every team bar 1 he would have had profit.. Now he has nothing? Cashing out is old school laying.

Cashing out means you pay the bookmakers overound twice

Bearing in mind that over time/all_participants gambling is a (zero sum game - bookmaker commissions) it only benefits the bookmaker

Arsenal, Oldham, Shrewsbury & Wycome.

All teams high in their leagues playing away at teams quite a bit lower.

£5 returns £125.

Was looking at adding Bolton in there as they are away at Forest and it pushes the winnings up to £450 but opted not to.

I fear Wycombe will let you down. They've only won one of their last six.

I have always refused to bet on away teams. Just a superstition as I went through a period of those messing me up.

Trying to figures out my weekend bets. Fancy a handicap treble or 4-fold. Got Middlesborough, Derby and wolves in so far.
