Big Foot If Scholes is so good, why hasn't he received the individual accolades his team mates have?
But would his team mates have won those awards without Scholes in the team?

Anyway, talk of the number of awards or goals scored meaning one player is better than another is![]()
Scholes>Lampard - somebody poll it.
coz if awards and goals don't indicate who the better player is, a poll on hobnob sure as shit will

Seal Scholes is a footballers' footballer. Plays the team game to perfection. The kind of player everyone would love to have in their team.
It is a team game after all is it not? It's all about the prizes your CLUB wins, not your players.
Lampard is a excellent goal scoring midfielder.
Scholes is the best player of his generation.
No comparison.

Not to take anything away from Scholes who is pure class but:
Maldini > (fat) Ronaldo > Giggs > Schmeichel > Del Piero > Scholes
And probably a fair few more too

In fairness I think you can argue that Schmiechel & Maldini aren't of the same generation as Scholes.

Having looked up Schmeichel's age I agree, didn't realise. Maldini & Scholes played 15 seasons at the same time so disgaree on that one
