Totally agred with Seb on tattoos on women, fcking horrendous. There are absolutely NO circumstances where adding a tattoo makes a woman more attractive.

AFAIC people can have whatever tattoos they want. They just have to be prepared to be judged for it by everyone who sees them, because the one certain thing about tattoos is that the message they send out about the wearer isn't anything like what the wearer intended.

I dunno, the massive guy at the RER stop with Legio Patria Nostra on the back of his neck, I think I got exactly the message he was trying to send out.

I don't get tattoos.
The closest I've come to even considering one would be 1871 on the top of my back or my kid's name but then I think that would be a bit ropey.

I told my other half if she had one it would make me like her less. She had a small one put on her ankle and asked what I thought.
I said it made her less attractive in my eyes.

A lot of my mates and family have had a few and proudly show them off. "Nice", I say but in reality they mainly look rubbish.

I do wonder what empty void in their life people are trying to fill with tattoos.

Tattoos on women are the worst thing, I just don't understand why they do it. Especially those stupid flowery patterns that they do around their ankle or top of the thigh,it just looks tacky and shit.

For blokes, if you're ripped and tanned tattoos look good. Unfortunately this doesn't apply to 99% of the British male population. Even then I'm sure these sleeves will go out of fashion soon, and they aren't exactly easy to hide!

Maybe I'm just boring.

Shit tattoos are shit but tattoos done by a great tattooist like the one I use create pieces of art that happen to be on the body. I honestly couldn't give a fuck what people think about or what they'll look like when I'm 80. I fully expect to be covered in them by the time I'm a pensioner because I see it like collecting art it's just collected on my body and not on a canvas etc.

Here's some examples of good tattoo's. This is the artist I use, I'm current having a full leg piece done and some of it has already been in Skin Deep tattoo magazine.

Maybe, if you're a Star Wars nerd and the tattoo is half decent. I'm not and her's wasn't. Looked like it had been done with an Etch-A-Sketch and a compass.
