He also claimed that there were 'plenty of men in the box' for a Norway cross....

Kirby subbed, 10 seconds later Norway score.

For all Bardsley's good work in 1st half, she had no need to touch that shot. Equally, we now look even lighter up top with Fran going off. Duggan can't do it all by herself!

Wowzers. You could see that was going in before it left her foot.

Jill Scott once again proving England's most valuable asset! Changed the game since she came on!

Don't like seeing all of that corner rubbish at the end there, and haven't seen it to that extent in the men's game for a while. It should be banned.

Still, well done England, got away with it today.

Our second goal was nicely worked and well taken, the rest of the match wasn't great tbf. Good to see them progress though...

Got to give England a lot of credit for working their way back into that game after 30 minutes of Norwegian domination. From the first goal onward England really played much better and Jill Scott made a huge difference.

Kirby - she's obviously talented but looks misplaced out on the left-wing and doesn't have the confidence to fully assert herself. She's probably also a little less physical than the older women so needs time to strengthen.

Gret ping for the winner. PING!

Carney seems to be thekey for England. If they can get her on the ball then we look a half decent team.

Kitsondinho For all Bardsley's good work in 1st half, she had no need to touch that shot. Equally, we now look even lighter up top with Fran going off. Duggan can't do it all by herself!

Also guilty more often than not of being unable to kick past the halfway line from either the ground or hands.

Her kicking is really poor but "guilty" is an odd choice of words.

Just a standard turn of phrase.
We had been assured previosusly that top women keepers have no problems with kicking the ball that far.
