6ft Kerplunk Its a shame that the likes of Mark Hughes and David Moyes who do fantastic jobs at less fashionable clubs don't even get mentioned when the manager's job at a top 4 club is on offer.

Is that why Hughes is one of the favourites to take over?

Personally I'd love Hughsy at the Bridge.

He could use it as a stepping stone to replacing Fergie.

What sort of manager would be happy recieving a fax showing a Billionaire's opinions about who to play?

Chelsea fans at my office seem to think it's going to be Hughes - not that they're ITK, though. I would think that he would be better off waiting for Fergie to retire/pop his clogs.

Apocalypse Now Looking at the names thrown around to replace Grant, no one really stands out. It makes the sacking of Mourinho all the more amazing.

Whoever takes over will have to rebuild the team, play attacking football and finish above a superb Man Utd side. It's almost an impossible task.

Fantastic isn't it!

The team doesn't need much rebuilding, just tweaking.
