1960 Chelsea are only the second club to have their transfer windows closed.

Arsenal are only the second team to have a player banned for two games for diving.

Players are tapped up every year by all the big European teams.

Players dive in just about every game.

So why have Chelsea and Arsenal been picked on? Let's see, what have thet got in common? Oh, yes, they're English.

Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get you.

Chelsea are the 3rd club - it's only the 3rd time a club has been found quilty of that crime.

Eduardo, whilst incorrect, was only banned following a complaint to UEFA.

If more complaints (particularly regarding Chelsea's "crime") are made then you'll see more sanctions like this.

Only English football fans would even contemplate that this is some kind of English witch hunt.

It's pretty obvious what happens, a club nicks a youth and the club threatens to report them if they don't pay up in a brown envelope. If United were going to complain about tapping up over Ronaldo, or Tottenham over Berbatov, or pretty much every transfer that occurs but amazingly the original club decides against reporting, why didn't Fifa/Uefa get involved anyways if there is a notion it was occurring? Quite obvious that Uefa/Fifa will only rule on what it is brought upon them, which explains what a massive flaw in how they are handling this. Much like with diving, it's not going to change anything. Sadly all this highlights is the corruption that has been occurring in football.

Difference between tapping up, and breach of contract though. Penalty seems to be different for the two offences.

The trouble is, neither Arsenal nor Chelsea have ever won the European Cup.

English clubs are definitely being picked on by UEFA.

I guarantee you EVERY Club is guilty of tapping up.

Players dive EVERY week so why only Eduardo's highlighted so much..........hmmmmmmmmmmm?!

bottle jobs.

Surely these referees reports and video evidences should have been consulted prior to announcing the ban?

This is an outrage! :x

Arsenal must have given UEFA lots of money. After all, Platini is from the same country as Wanger.

I think its more a case of UEFA not realising how big a headache this could cause them with clubs complaining about EVERY dive that happens in a game.

So know will UEFA come out and say why he was banned in the 1st place?

Heads should role at UEFA, has been an utter disgrace from the outset. Everything that has been done has been against UEFA's own rules.
