Snowball
tidus_mi2 Last year of his contract, what are the odds HRK will suddenly have a blinding season akin to his end of Premier League performances.

So keep him for one more season, then flog him!

When his contract has expired....

Ok.

semtex1871 No coincidence that when HRK is not involved that the defence/midfield is more solid, more challenges going in and fast counter-attacking......the sooner HRK fucks off the better....

Amen to that.

Saturday has made my mind up. It's time for him to go. We were so aggressive in attack Saturday, fast and efficient. HRK would have definitely slowed this down. Hanging on the the smallest hope that he will get a massive kick up the arse by Clarke pre season, as I'll doubt we'll shift him until his contract's out.

As for Fosu, i'm not sure what some people were watching? Granted he held the ball a little longer than he should have on a few occasions, but at least he took players on, and wasn't afraid to shoot. Very impressed by him. Difficult one as to whether we send him out on loan or throw him straight in the deep end. He looked pretty up to it Saturday

Platypuss Also not as much of a surprise that we look better against a team almost as out of form as we are!

'almost' is pushing it! Derby were unbeaten in their 6 games in April whereas we were winless in our 8 games in April.

That's an apples and oranges comparison, which could have both teams on exactly the same! Six draws.

We had one win in 12, they had 2 wins in 12.
We had 4 draws in 12, they had 6 draws in 12.

Not a fan of getting on someone's case for trying things. Half the reason we have been so poor is that everyone in the team is scared of having a go in case they fluff it and get the wrath of the fans.

A week late I know (and courtesy of Twattster) :
"I hear HRK was prevented from voting in the election because he could put a (decent) cross in the box"

Made me laugh.

Nice to see that The Tilehurst End awarded HRK the "Most underwhelming player of the season" for the second consecutive year in their end of season podcast. One more outstandingly awful season and he can probably keep it.

Considering our most whelming thing this season was the cup run, to which HRK was the biggest contributor, I think that's a bit harsh

If we can't give him his P45 this summer, I'd be overjoyed if he's only picked for FACup games next season. We could bill it as a "Special guest appearance" like he was Bernie Clifton or Dana.

Which is why he is so underwhelming.

Surely it can't be long before he turns up on Sky Sports News in a pastel jumper gazing mournfully into the camera and telling the world how he feels he is a premier league player :D

I'd agree that he isn't very good. But not sure he's been that much worse than anyone else. Given the goals he scored in the FA Cup, I reckon there are many others who have underwhelmed more.

Kick him in the arse out the door, though. I'm not asking to marry the guy.

After scooping the Tilehurst End "Most underwhelming" prize, Robson-Kanu puts down another marker by being awarded the GetReading "Worst player of the season" award.

Back in January Clarke said he was dumbfounded by the stick HRK was getting from Reading fans. Has he worked it out yet?

Let's hope Clarke/Hammond can find another club that wants him otherwise we are stuck for yet another season of mediocrity from a player who has had so many chances and failed to deliver.
